Born Demetrius Seabrooks on the South Side of Chicago Illinois, DJ Spin has been around music his whole life.  With his dad being a local DJ in Chicago it wasn’t hard for Spin to follow in his footsteps.

 At the age of 7 DJ Spin relocated to South Central Los Angeles where he grew up the oldest of 4 kids.  While growing up listening to 1580 KDAY Mix Show DJ’s he had his mind made up to become a well-known DJ.  While attending George Washington Prep DJ Spin begin to make a name for his self-playing small house parties and backyard boogies.

 By the age of 15 DJ Spin was one of the hottest DJ’s at the World Famous World On Wheels Skating Rink where he continued to grow in the craft.  Also being amongst some of LA’s greatest Jocks like DJ General Lee, Fred Loc, DJ Paradise, DJ Damu, DJ Tee, DJ Twinn, DJ King Arthur, DJ Big Bert, Sydney Thompson and a host of others.

 By his early 20’s DJ Spin was spinning and some of LA’s hottest events on a regular base.  After finishing broadcasting school DJ Spin spent a little time at KJLH, and KKBT.  Playing music has always been something that he loved and now DJ Spin has played all across North America as a tour dj and he has also had the chance to spin in Jamaica, London, and Paris.
